The pandemic has made all of us more hesitant about being close to others. It is rare that I have a legitimate reason to give myself a day off in an outdoor space with a plastic companion and create a more three-dimensional connection to the world, even if it is just a glimpse of me from a passerby. The artists were scattered throughout the various areas of SW11 in London for their windowsill displays. And I responded to the loneliness of the pandemic in the form of my own date with Plastic Man by the river. I also sent images to passers-by using airdrop: "Would you like to link sometime?
